چکیده
Aim. Using bioinformatic tools, to perform a pathway enrichment analysis in Alzheimer’s disease and coronary heart (CHD). Materials methods. Genes contributing susceptibility CHD were obtained from the public database DisGeNET (Database of Gene – Disease Associations). A was performed ClueGO Cytoscape plug-in (version 3.6.0) using hypergeometric distribution KEGG Reactome databases. Results. The identified genes are included 69 common signaling pathways, grouped into following subgroups: cell death pathways (1); regulating immune responses (2); responsible for fatty acid metabolism (3); involved functioning nervous system (4), cardiovascular (5), endocrine (6). Conclusion. Following analysis, we possible associations between processes involving genetic factors their products disease. In particular, assumed that implementation these regulate apoptosis, production inflammatory cytokines chemokines, lipid metabolism, β-amyloid formation, angiogenesis.

15 صفحه اولEvaluation of Apolipoprotein A5 Polymorphism in Coronary- Heart Disease Patients
Background and Objectives: Apolipoprotein A5 (APOA5) gene is important in determining plasma triglyceride levels, a major cardiovascular disease risk factor. Mutation in this gene affected plasma triglyceride level. We looked for possible associations of the APOA5 gene polymorphism S19W with coronary heart disease (CHD) in a sample of Iranian population. Materials and Methods: A total of 7...

Prevalence of non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors was def...
متن کاملPrevalence of androgenetic alopecia in patients and its relationship with the history of coronary heart disease
Background and Aim: Androgenetic alopecia is a type of androgen and genetic dependent hair loss and although it is more of a beauty issue, but in recent years studies have shown that this type of alopecia is associated with underlying disorders such as coronary artery disease. The aim of this study was to evaluate the frequency of androgenetic alopecia in hospitalized patients and its relations...
